CoinDonor – Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 November 2025
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CoinDonor website and related services (collectively, the "Platform").
By accessing or using CoinDonor, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. About CoinDonor
CoinDonor is a digital donation-processing platform operated by CoinDonor LLC, a limited liability company registered in St. Kitts & Nevis ("we," "us," or "our").
We facilitate the receipt and distribution of cryptocurrency donations to verified recipients and charitable causes.
We are not a bank, financial institution, broker, exchange, or investment advisor.
2. Nature of Service
- All donations are made in cryptocurrency only.
- CoinDonor receives and forwards donations to the recipient organization's wallet address, minus a processing fee of 1.5 % to cover operational costs.
- Once a transaction is confirmed on-chain, it cannot be reversed.
- CoinDonor does not guarantee that any donation is tax-deductible in your jurisdiction.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use CoinDonor lawfully and in good faith.
- Not use the Platform for money-laundering, terrorism financing, sanctions evasion, or any illegal purpose.
- Provide accurate information when requested (for example, for compliance verification).
- Accept the inherent risks of cryptocurrency networks, including volatility, delays, or network fees.
4. No Financial Custody or Guarantee
CoinDonor acts solely as a technical facilitator. We do not:
- Hold user funds beyond the period required to process a donation,
- Offer savings, yield, investment, or custody services,
- Guarantee the performance, honesty, or legitimacy of any recipient organization.
All donations are voluntary and made at your own discretion and risk.
5. Fees
A 1.5 % processing fee is automatically deducted from each donation before distribution to the recipient. Network (blockchain) fees may apply and are outside our control.
6. Compliance and AML
We comply with reasonable anti-money-laundering (AML) and sanctions screening practices.
Transactions may be delayed, rejected, or reported if deemed suspicious or non-compliant with applicable laws.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- CoinDonor LLC shall not be liable for any loss of funds, data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Platform.
- We are not responsible for losses due to blockchain errors, smart-contract bugs, wallet misuse, or third-party failures.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoinDonor LLC, its directors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, and branding on the Platform belong to CoinDonor LLC.
