Nepal Flood Relief Fund
Help us provide emergency food, shelter and essential supplies to communities affected by flooding in Nepal. Shekinah House is raising funds in direct support of Bhikkhu Sadhana Sthal, a monastic and community centre in Thakre-3, Dhading District, approximately 36 km from Kathmandu. The centre provides free learning, food, accommodation and structured care to vulnerable members of its community. Following the floods, local volunteers are mobilising its space and resources to support affected families wherever possible. What Your Donation Supports: Funds will help provide rice, lentils, cooking oil, vegetables, clean water and other emergency groceries, alongside mattresses, blankets, bedding, sanitation supplies and temporary accommodation for people affected by the floods. Our goal is to transfer the funds raised by end of day Thursday, 3 September. 100% of donations to this appeal will be transferred to support the Nepal relief effort, with no administration or fundraising fee deducted by Shekinah House. Updates on the transfer and distribution of aid will be shared with our community. A Note From Shek Outside of my career in crypto, I founded Shekinah House to create meaningful humanitarian and social impact. Last year, we supported work alongside INO Projects surrounding the rescue of six underage children from human trafficking in Cambodia. Today, we're turning our attention to Nepal. We've connected directly with people on the ground who are ready to help their community. Our role is simple: listen to what they need and help put resources into their hands. If you feel called to contribute, we'd be grateful to have you alongside us. You can join this TG group for updates and progress reports: https://t.me/+bI65i4tWq8BjZTdl
